Meet BCC Cabarete

BCC Cabarete is located in Cabarete, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. 

We are still forming and so far it’s Melvin Taylor and me, Carolina Zuniga, although his family joins us occasionally. We are getting to know each other and I’m sharing with them my meditation practice, although I’m not an instructor and sometimes think I may lack the finesse necessary. We get together every Friday to meditate and sometimes Mondays with a larger group. 

We plan to plant natives for pollinators and have approached some buildings with green areas, such as the local church, to ask for a small area in which to plant a garden. We’re still awaiting response and also looking for more places. 

We are a very young group and are having long conversations to try to know how to get going.
